Thanks man. I was able to read up on some recommended threads after I posted this. I found out that the VVTi also has a partial Drive By Wire (DBW). I would imagine that there is some more wiring for that. Also, you get torque a lot sooner (2400rpm 3400 or something like that). The VVTi are a little cheaper also, since no one wants to deal with the added headaches. One other thing (but I'm sure there is more), the exhaust manifold has a different bit pattern and port pattern. Makes it hard to get an aftermarket manifold that fits.
