Default MAF-T & Apexi AFC 5 KNOB

Ok so im about to buy a maf-t and i currently own a apexi afc 5 knob. Im going to throw in some 550cc injectors and obviously a walbro 255 fuel pump. I was told, i dont need a new fuel regulator, and i can use the stock one. Is that correct or no?

Also, how does the maf-t hook up? And should i use the apexi 5 knob with the maf-t? I heard the maf-t kinda hooks up to ur fmic piping?

Maf-t i heard is a decent device for tuning, and getting past fuel cut...which is wat i want to do...lol i want to run 15psi on stock ct-26 and thats it. Wat can u tell me about maf-t?? ive searched the forums here and found lots of stuff on maft-pro but not much on maf-t Also when i tune this, it will go to a professional. Any advice? lol

I didn't re-read these but I'm pretty sure I covered the basics in at least one of them:

The MAF-T is NOT a tuning device... That's why you have the SAFC. The MAF-T is only intended to allow you to convert to a GM MAF sensor with is available in larger sizes and thus offers less restriction (plus they're MUCH cheaper to replace, easier to find and just as reliable as your old KVAFM).

A NEW, STOCK fuel pressure regulator will be fine. The concern comes from running an old unit which isn't going to hold up to the extra flow. I haven't had a problem running stock FPRs and upgraded pumps. A healthy FPD is also needed.

The MAF-T has trim potentiometers for low, mid and high signals inside of the unit. It's just for tweaking subtle offsets and it's resolution is poor. You are best off not considering it a tuning device of any sort... Keep the SAFC for that. If you must tune with the MAF-T's pots (for whatever reason), tune those first to set the mainscale and then tune with the SAFC.

The GM MAF will go in place of your KVAFM. You will need adapters to make it fit. I suspect a 3" MAF will fit the best. I think any larger is overkill for your application. The size of the MAF will affect your fuel cut.

FPD = Fuel Pulsation Damper. Basically it's a simple FPR used to reduce noise in the fuel rail... removes oscillations in fuel pressure which the FPR doesn't. It's on the backside of the fuel rail, looks like a FPR without the vacuum port, has a grey plastic cap and under that is just a tiny screw. DO NOT TOUCH THE SCREW!!!!!!!!!!! This is NOT a user serviceable part. A bad FPD will cause symptoms similar to a bad FPR.

you can use the stock acordian pipe if your going to recirculate your bpv. it will work exactly as if you still had a stock setup just with a maf instead of a kvafm
