Crazy thing happened, now car won't start

Sorry to revive a dead thread. But in case anyone else runs into this problem. I finally, after a month, got in a new distributor (and the cap and stuff). After resetting the CPU and giving the car a few minutes to get to know the new part, I drove it around and it ran smooth as butter!
