The ECU is pretty solid. It's very often suggested as the cause of someone's problem but VERY rarely is that the case... I'm not saying you're not that one lucky person out of a hundred but until you've actually tested all the possible components you shouldn't be spending any money on it.... well, new spark plugs and wires are seldom a bad investment and they're cheap.

So all this time you haven't even checked for diagnostic codes? I covered that in my FIRST reply to you.

And you mean "there's" as in "there is" not "theirs" as in "they" possessive with an "s" added for flavor. Sorry, the grammar thing just kills me.

that wold be correct because i dont know how to clue how to check the diagnosis codes ... and sorry about the grammer i was on my phone

i'm just all around confused with the problem because as long as the car doesnt get frozen over in the morning it will keep spark and start right up

which is confusing because i didnt think spark should have anything to do with the temperature outside the car

For the last time... Read the second post in this thread; Pay extra attention to the part that says to "look in the FAQ section for the info on 'how to check for diagnostic/error codes'".

Yes, temperature may affect how the car starts. Aside from the fact that the ECU operates the engine differently based on input from a couple different temperature sensors, an electrical short or break my be exacerbated by temperature. My first guess (not that I have been given any real info to go on) is that it's probably either the ECU coolant temp sensor, AFM, distributor or faulty wiring.

Good luck with it, I'm out.
