What type of boost controller? Ball valve, bleed or hybrid?
Peak boost has almost nothing to do with how much weight you're carrying... The increase in load will cause you to reach that level sooner but it won't increase it. Don't worry about over-boosting fuel cut will kick in around 14psi. How did you set the the controller and what kind of pressure guage are you using when tuning the controller?
