If it's not turning over at all, start with pulling the EFI fuse and verify that you can rotate the crank (to make sure something in the powertrain isn't locked up.

Then check the primary ground from the engine to the battery and the power line from the battery to the starter (there are two wires which run to it: primary and solenoid, the solenoid obviously has power).

sorry i meant what did you torque* the bolts too. and yes, i could see alot of problems ensuing, including a leaking hg if you didnt follow proper tq and or sequence.

you very well could have warped the head.

find where the leak is coming from first. if it is definitely from the head, you may have to do the HG all over, and have the head milled, if its not too messed up.

The leaking was coming from the drain line from the turbo that my buddy took off and i didn't know.....So then the new problem aross.....I need to know how to time the cam and cylinders and keep them in check....everytime they are timed, i start the car and then it doesn't stay in place....so how do i time it and keep it timed?

...you really should get a repair manual...cygnus wont pull up for me. but you really should invest in one.

you need to put the #1 cylinder at top dead center. then you need to verify whether or not the cams are timed straight up.

here is a pic that shows how the notches in the cams are to be located. if the #1 piston is at TDC, the your cam notches should be straight up. that should be a 0'0 cam timing.

then you need to verify correct timing belt tension. like i said, invest in a repair manual. good 25 dollar investment.

Don't buy Haynes.... They're vague and generally crap. Get the Toyota Repair and Service Manual (aka TSRM) for the right year Supra. They've pretty much got everything covered and it's step by step... easy enough for most novices to follow.

If you look in the MKIII FAQ section you'll find a thread or two with links to online versions and PDFs for a couple different years.
