...you really should get a repair manual...cygnus wont pull up for me. but you really should invest in one.
you need to put the #1 cylinder at top dead center. then you need to verify whether or not the cams are timed straight up. here is a pic that shows how the notches in the cams are to be located. if the #1 piston is at TDC, the your cam notches should be straight up. that should be a 0'0 cam timing. then you need to verify correct timing belt tension. like i said, invest in a repair manual. good 25 dollar investment.
