Yes. Aside from installing the required mechanical components (also requires a different driveshaft and possibly flywheel) you remove the transmission computer and reroute or bypass the neutral start switch. If the transmission is from a Turbo model then you may want to swap differentials as well so that the speedometer and odometer are accurate. Do note that the Turbo's manual transmission (R154) is a good bit heavier than the N/A's (W58) and is a little notchier (doesn't shift quite as smoothly).
