Default 87 vs 92 turbo intake hose

I wanna know is there a diff n the turbo intake hose from 87 to 92? (the one that goes from the afm to the turbo) Ok so today after work i went to Toyota to buy a turbo intake hose. wen i asked for pricing they say the one for a 87 turbo was 150. idk y but i ask for the same part but for a 92 turbo. and to my suprise they said it was like $45. i was like wtf!

Part #s and application are as follows:
17882-42010 used in the GTE for the first MONTH of production only (manufacture dates 8/86 until 9/86)... then they changed to:
17882-42011 which was used for the remainder of the '87 model year
17882-42012 was used for the '88 model year onward.

Models x42010 and x42011 were superseded by part number 17882-42H00.

I don't recall ever noticing or even hearing about any differences present. Nipple placement and size may be different but I can't imagine much else that may differ. AFM outlet and turbo inlet never changed. I have a hard time imagining that it would be difficult to get the later model part to work but it may involve swapping out other hoses.

I have a 1987 Supra Turbo made in June 1987. I also came across this dilemma with the air intake hose part numbers but when I looked at my replaced air intake hose it had the part number of the later one so evidently it fits. This one has gone hard at the Turbo end and so I'm going to replace it with another 17882-42012 hose.
