Looks like a cleaned up 7m head (they only have one head not a set). Is the mating surface straight? Are the cam journals in good shape and straight? Cracks around the valves? Serious pitting? Any bolt holes stripped? These are a few things to check. Most of it should have been taken care of if it is a re manufactured head but don't count on it..
How much material is removed from the head and block, piston type as well as desired static compression will determine the head gasket thickness you will need. Talk to your machinist/mechanic about it. If they don't know what you are talking about or seem confused, exit rapidly. |
