Looks like the stock throttle body to me.... Who told you otherwise? Post the part numbers already... sheesh.

I did some manual reading so i now know somethings about my supra. In regards to the idle problem, I bought a new TPS and it fixed the problem. My main concern now is the car stalling without notice. One of the codes shows a bad AFM.. what are the symptoms of a bad afm?. want to make sure before I make a costy purchase.

Unplug the AFM and go for a drive. Just don't get into a race. If it drives close to fine then the AFM is shot (note: this only works on the 7M-GTE models).

There's more testing info in the TSRM, but if driveability improves with it disconnected then it's pretty much given that it's shot.

Thanks for the information. I ended up buying an AFM. car runs perfect. I wish I could find out who was the idiot who put this engine tho. So far I have bought the following.
1. new TPS
2 new recirculating kit for my BOV
3. new AFM
4. New CPS dust cover and gasket(cps had been exposed due to a broken cover)
5. New vacuum hoses.
6. New universal Oxygen sensor

one problem remains; the car shuts off without notice, then it start right up it has happened 2 times while cruising on the street. I don't have any codes in my car so I don't know where to start.

Dying while the throttle's open, at tip-out or at idle? Stumbling or just smoothly cutting out? Have you checked all grounds and power connections (including at the ECU)?
