Yes, the sensor's pretty much the same as that used on most other Toyota's of that vintage. There's a GM sensor which fits too.... dirt cheap but you need to change the connector on your wire harness to accommodate it.
EDIT: Camry, Cressida, Rav 4, MR2 and Celica (depending on year of your car).... and probably other vehicles as well. For '89 it only indicates the Cressida as compatible but they're such basic devices it should matter as long as it screws in and the clip fits. http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar...t.aspx?S=89615
