Want it quiet

My Supra is just too noisy for me. Yea it impressed the kiddies but I have police following me around.
Some jerk replaced the exhaust manifold and took out the cat. I wonder if he did something to the muffler?
I do not race but like a car that can perform. Taking off the roof on a nice day is my ideal of bless, however he is too loud.
Any ideals?

You could always go back to the stock exhaust im sure plenty of people have them around that will sell it cheap.

I put this Hks on my NA. I know it is 3in but I really don't notice any power loss with the auto. But it has a nice low rumble and looks alot like factory. I don't like anything that looks like a fart can.

The less noisy he is the happier I am. Having tinnitus from my military service loud noises are bothersome. I like the ideal of a ride that can kick ass but not sound like it. Loud noise is for children and getting tickets.
I want the most quiet system with the loss of the least amount of horsepower.
I need an exhaust manifold, new cat with the plumbing, I looked over the diagrams and they seem wrong for my car.
Oh I have 2 buttons on the left side of my steering wheel. What could they control?

you can get a high performance cat from hks.

Do you know what header you have on it now?

No I will take a picture and post it. Cars are my hobby and am not an expert on them.

What about the sound? High noise bothers me so much.

Install some dynomat stuff in the rear hatch area that should help with some of the noise and is easy to do since no uphosltry has to be removed

if anything it should be quieter w/o hampering performance. or you could install a regular one.
might wanna check your resonator also. thats were allot of the sound gets dampened.
