Nothing wrong with the distributor or VAFM on a GTE, that's how Toyota set up a number of their boosted engines... it's the ECU's fuel maps, the injectors and the timing maps that are the biggest concerns.

So your saying I should install a GTE ECU and wire harness?

Instead of replacing the wire harness and ECU could I get away with just buying a piggy back system?
It does make sense I should be worried about it running probably really lean

I should also put a walboro 255 fuel pump in just to be safe

How can I tell the difference between GE and GTE injector's?
