2500 rpm cut out

Hey when my supra hits around 2500 rpm the acceleration stops until the revs hit about 1800 i dont believe its the tranny any help would be cool thanks :

have you had any servicing to your car lately? is there an engine checklight on? have you done a diagnostic?

lemme know this stuff and i'll troubleshoot further
