Bolts or studs, can't go wrong with any of them.
ARP recomends 75LB-FT torque for aluminum heads. If you have your block milled for a MLS head gasket, the lone alignment dowell at the front of the block must be removed. I used the studs the last time around. This worked to align the head to the block, eliminating the need for installing a new dowell. If your interested, I have a set of used ARP bolts / washers for the 7M. Used once, torqued to the 75LB-FT value and in great shape. |
