Arp studs or bolts

Im looking to get a set of arp bolts or studs for my head so do they both have the same strength or is it just easier to install the head with the studs

I used arp bolts and they seem to work just fine

Well my motor is going back the shop cause they messed up the rebuild and I was just going to get some new Arps and have them torque to 70lbs the first time they torque them to 58lbs

the studs are suppose to be better, but they came out with bolts for applications where studs cant be used, like in v block cars where tight clearance wont allow head removal in car if on studs. both are made from the same material though.

Bolts or studs, can't go wrong with any of them.
ARP recomends 75LB-FT torque for aluminum heads.
If you have your block milled for a MLS head gasket, the lone alignment dowell at the front of the block must be removed. I used the studs the last time around. This worked to align the head to the block, eliminating the need for installing a new dowell.
If your interested, I have a set of used ARP bolts / washers for the 7M. Used once, torqued to the 75LB-FT value and in great shape.
