What kind of clutch does it have the ones that have the big pads and no springs in them have chatter when used on the street and it could be caused by uneven wear on the disk to

I'm assuming it's a stock clutch. He just bought the car about a month ago so he has a bit of a learning curve to contend with, I guess this weekend we'll have to tear it down and see what kind of clutch he has in it. *prays for a six puck*

If it's got 6 pucks then it's for racing only clutch

6 pucks are usually plenty streetable.... but yes, 6 puck or less have more and more chatter. A OEM style disc with a very high clamping force pressure plate can cause chatter.
Chatter can happen whether the disc is sprung or unsprung. With a sprung OEM disc if a couple of the springs or rubber bushings (as were the case in mine) break up you may also experience a lot of chatter. The bitch of it is that the only way you're ever going to know is by pulling it.

I was hoping by this weekend I might be able to scrounge up enough that we can put a new clutch in it. If not it will be good to know why it's chattering anyway. Is there anything that I should be concerned about as far as fatigue on other parts?
