Default car smokes when i come on to her.

hey guys my car has been smoking a little when i come on to it. but when i'm driving normal its fine unless i downshift to the lower gears like 3rd to 2nd and then 2nd to 1st. more so after beating the shit out of 5.0's in town.
i'm not sure if its a seal in my turbo or if its something else.
so please guys can you help me out, anyone have any idea what it could be.
the supra is working great. has no problems kicking 5.0's and anything esle that dares to pull up beside me. so not sure if its serious or not.
peace.

Actually, I'm having a very simmilar problem with my 89 turbo. I can bring it up to 3k or 4k rpms without it smoking if I rev it real slow, but when I rev it moderate to hard, it'll start spewing blue smoke, even if it's as low as 2k rpms..

Some say the engine needs a rebuild, but a mechanic friend of mine says it's probably as simple as a turbo seal. Anybody have any suggestions?
