Dang, I like it. Doesn't jump out at you, it's a nice subtle touch up. Not to mention the clean engine bay all around tying everything up real nice

dam dude.
didnt think white would look so nice, is it flat or a gloss i cant even tell...
youv got one of the nicest engine bays i ever seen on a mk3...


think im gona go with either black or white, and ill probly either color or sand the letters out.

Thank you for the compliments gentlemen.
The pictures dont show it, however, the paint is a gloss engine enamel.
This is the second time I painted them white. The first time I used a standard gloss white paint which chiped with a slight touch. The engine enamel has held up well.
The idea of polishing the raised areas is a good one. I considered it and decided since 2/3 of the covers are hidden, I didn't wish to spend the time.
I admit, it is not a daily driver, but yes, I do drive it. It's garaged and covered, never driven in the winter, and I am very anal about keeping it detailed.

Its not as good looking as it could be but 10 times better then it was. Since the 7mge valve cover markings are indented I painted the letters and then sanded the rest to bare metal.
