Antilock light comes on

So, I just had a new engine put in to my 87 manual turbo supra. The antilock light was never on before this engine swap. When I turn off the engine and start it back up the light doesn't come on but if I start driving, light will come on. I do hear every once in awhile a screeching sound coming from the driver side wheel and hitting the brakes doesn't change the sound. The screeching sound goes away if a turn the wheel a little to the left but the sounds comes right back when I straighten out the wheel. Not sure if that is related to my antilock light coming on.

Might have bad wheel bearings on one side (or both). This could cause the sensor to malfunction for the anti-lock. Also sounds like it could be the brake pad wear indicator telling you it's time to change the pads.

Or the speed sensors at the tires or wheel
