if you plan to keep the car, it will require an substantial amount of money. That 7mge had alot of miles, it was bound to happen soon. maybe all thats needed is new seals. the amount you need to spend on the engine rebuild would be about the same as the cost of a swap. If thats going to be your daily, then i would go with the 1jz 2.5L. Its reliable, powerful, and fuel efficient. If your looking for big power, then go with 2jz. another 7m isnt bad looking at either, my 7m came with 123,000. I went straight to maintenance, before driving the car.
