Default 7mge Head gasket set question

Since the engine was put the supra and the cressida(sp?), I'm assuming that the head gasket sets are the same.

The only diffenerce i noted was of that of the price...
I guess since a sports car they'll try to soak you more for it.

Can some one clarify please?

I am a wadder my self. I can't believe how arrogant some of u are on this site. I am 90 percent sure they are 100 percent the same motor.... I just don't want to give bad info so I wanted CRE to confirm cuz he knows his shit and shares it with out attitude... this site would be alot more helpful if u and some of the other posters loose there cocky attitude and actually answer post not criticize people for not bein as mighty as you... and you are a moderater all the more reason u should be helpful, not hating... to answer the posters question. i did some research and they are the exact motors

I believe the Cressida does not have the y pipe on top like the 7mgte, but besides that it should be the same. It probably uses the same t body gasket though and skipps the y pipe. I looked on rockauto and the prices are the same for each set, Supra or Cressida. So why worry?

I don't hate. dont get so butt hurt : (

you just proved the point i was trying to make..
you did some research.. not asked for an answer... check for yourself. make your usual rounds of web sites and google key words..
and as for the attitude. I dont think a funny antidote was anywhere near the cocky level I can achieve if wanted.. and how exactly was telling the person to call a dealer and ask a tech not sound advice, considering they can bring it up right there and Tell you 100% if any, all differences. Sounds like someone else needs to drop the cocky attitude. Instead of giving your opinion and then asking someone to confirm it.. check your own damn work or don't post at all

Just checked the EPC (Electronics Part Catalogue) and the Cressida MX83 and Supra 7MGE have the same part #`s for all the gasket sets, so there can’t be any difference in price? Unless you’ve compared the Cressida EngineValve Grind Kit against the Supra Overhaul kit by mistake.

Gasket Kit - Overhaul # 04111-42030
Gasket Kit – Engine Valve Grind # 042112-42030
Head Gasket on its own # 11115-42021

boom.. headshot.

travis.. nbd. (no big deal. forget about it)

just trying to get people to stear away from being so sheepish with fielding questions. its good to know 100% that what your saying is accurate. But no one ever learns if people are just given the information. head on over to supermania and ask something before exhausting all of your research ability and see the flames that start up there..lol if you thought a funny little thing about poop was bad.. christ! your in for a treat.

cheers.

i can confirm the difference is only the y pipe in the supra vs the cressida, which explains the difference of 10hp (200vs190). the gasket is the same
