Yeah finished getting the head off... From the looks of it and a gut feeling imma go ahead and rebuilt it... But aleast it will last through college this way.....

The TSRM says to pull with tranny but i already have the head off... is there a way to pull just the block or will i have to reattach the head to pull?

You can use a couple of head bolts, if you have spares, to anchor the lift chain to the block, no head required...

also pulling the tranny and engine @ the same time is easy.
its also alot easyier to put the tranny back on when its swinging from a chain.

and its a pretty tight fing space to get the tranny off while its in the body
