In my 87 N/A manual it shows that the regular operating temp is anywhere for 1/4 to almost red lines on stock temp gauge. so from the sounds of it doesn't look as though its over heating~

Well that can't be right cause my temp guage never reached the red and my radiator was boiling so I don't think that estimate could possibly be correct as far near the red being normal.

Well then they must be cooking eggs, cause at that temp my car was boiling so bad it was leaving and overflowing the overflow bottle.

did you replace your thermostat does your turbo have the stock heat insulator? or heat shield of some sort? make sure your getting enough antifreeze and you could try adding a coolant additive. CHECK ERROR CODES!!!!!!! ALWAYS CHECK ERROR CODES!!!!!!! learn how to check here: http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar...aspx?S=FI&P=23 (jumping of terminal te1 & e1 can be done with a pape clip) if the ac doesnt work why keep it?? really it just slows us down and gets in the way under the hood, the system weighs a fair bit i dropped mine

it has a new thermostat, just put it in about three weeks ago. I put it in then because I noticed the thermostat housing bolt was missing/broken, so I replaced it since I was working on that anyways. I'll check the codes here in a little bit. I have no warning lights that indicate any issues, just that the temp gets high at constant high speed over 20 minutes or so.
