with the stock posi in the back of the turbo models, it's not too bad, but you still ahve to fight to keep the rear tires where they belong...behind you. Keep your foot out of it, don't boost, get good snow tires and you might be alright, it's a skill that needs to be learned....and you can't drive on ice unless it's cold enough to act like concrete (some parts of the world it gets that bad). Don't they plow the streets up there? Anyways, it's up to you...try it out, you just gotta go slow....
