Default Speedometer Problems

I saw a post on this just last night. Larger tires could change your speedometer readings. Usually people report that the speedometer bounces or just fails alltogether.
Is your car an automatic?

Has the rear end or the speedo been swaped out? Tires won't make that big of a difference, maybe a mile or two at most.

the springs in your speedo are shot or your speedo gear has been swapped/ your rear gearing has been search the forum for "rear gear change" there is a table that says how fast you should be going at what rpm
