In that pic I see a depressed area, is that the low spot? Anyway, this is a good time to ask a question I had on this topic. When taking a head to the machine shop on high milage car what do you do and not do to it in order for it not to cause later ring failure? I have heard of people having their heads redone and then the changes somehow cause the rings to go.
