Cool

Yeah its high flow, and the pipng is 2.5, right before the muffler I think it drops down to 2.25 inch. i was on the car when I bought it. I did put the headers on tho.

HKS has a nice sound, as does Blitz. The Blitz one is LOUD though.

so do you guys think i should put headers on my car even if its just for street use? I heard that the headers will make high RPM gain but that won't be the ideal range for street use but it would match the intake since its better for higher RPMs. but arent there headers for lower RPMs too like how long tube headers are better for low RPM's than shorties.

and with my engine stock for now, should i just leave the tube diameter alone and not bother with a cat back system? and will have to leave the CAT alone since i need emissions for 2 more years until its 25 yrs old

mvp motorsport offers a good header.. company took over after the last one went tails up. about 440 for 17 rwhp to an na.. least thats what their claiming.

just a quick hijack along the same topic.
Is there any downfall to running an exposed downpipe? eliminating cat back? seems a tad risky to me to just have my downpipe hanging opened like that.. might be worried about critters making their way into my turbo!

i just checked and they don't make headers for a 87 supra. do you think pacesetter's headers would net around the same hp gain?
do all of the headers available for supras focus on the upper RPM range because i know for my camaro i can get them for lower or upper RPM range( long tube vs shorties)?

and since i already have a muffler(got the car yesterday and it doesn't sound too bad, i think will keep it), do you think it would be beneficial to get 2.5" cat back tubing or just leave that alone since my engines stock except for K&N air filter and just get headers and/or high flow cats?
