If it's not cranking at all there are two things to check first:

1) With the ignition in the "ON" position does the Cehck Engine light turn on? It should, if it doesn't the bulb is either burned out, the ECU's pre check is failing (not sure if this results in the light remaining off though) or the ECU is not getting power.

2) Check if the starter is at least making a click sounds when you try to crank. If not, make sure the alarm is arming when you lock the car and disarming when you unlock it (try unlocking the car from the passenger door with the key.

And what about the things in #2? Did you try locking the car with the key in the passenger door and then disarming it the same way? Does the starter click at all when you try to start the car?

I'm trying to cover the easiest things first (well, at least they're what I consider the easiest), but you need to help with the diagnosis.

Oh, and change the check engine bulb and see if it lights up with the key in the ON position... if not, then the ECU is probably not getting power.

Where you working on anything when this started?

Totally happened to me once. I freaked out for about a whole 30 seconds then unlocked the doors using the key.
