Unhappy Supra won't start

Hello everybody, I got a dilemma..

My supra just died today, In the middle of an intersection (Convenient), and would not start.

My first thought was that maybe my fuel pump hit the can, but the fuel pressure is fine and None of the fuses are blown..

The coil is not sending any spark.., So I replaced the coil.. Still nothing, So here is where I start to get somewhat confused, I dont know about all the relays and that happy crap, anyone have any idea what it might be?

One of the guys at checker auto parts looked up the unit that sits on the coil, Some kind of firing control unit, which comes out to $450.. I opened the one that I have (hoping to find anything) and it looks ok, so I have no idea...

Any help would be appreciated..

Default no-fire

Try seeing if there is a auto parts reseller in your area, like Auto Zone or who ever, and see if they have a test procedure you can put on your ignition components. It's no cost, and will avoid wasting time and money with hit/miss.

Also, are there any import salvage yards near you? If you want , give me the specifications and year of your sky bird (supra) and I will check my local salvage yard and see what i can find for you.

Actually I came to find out it was the ignition coil? Whatever that grey looking metal box that sits on top of the coil and has 6 wires coming out of it, Whatever that is called, it was the problemed part. I grabbed one out of a local junk yard for $10 and it fixed the problem, I may pick up another as a spair..

Thanks for your help
