Stock stereo & E3 spark plugs?

Can someone tell me what the grey plug is for in the back of the stock stereo? i know the black one is the antenna-

Has anyone used E3 spark plugs on a NA or to be specific, what are some of the better spark plugs recommendations other then the ones listed on the tsrm?

Does the mk3 have pcv valves or are they just hoses that connect to each vavle cover, there seems to be oil seeping around the edges and near the TB.

Some years have an external amp underneath the passenger seat, it could be it.
As for E3, I have no experience with them. And I have not run with anybody running them yet. Can't go wrong with NGK, but if you want to try them, let us know how they perform.
Yep, no PCV Valve....check the valve cover if the holes are plug up, clean them up. 20 years could build up sludge.

I know some one will probably take a dump on this but i think the less metal you have in the way of the spark, the better it's going to burn in the cylinder. I think the e3's have 3 or 4 points in essance creating a good burn area but potentially robbing power. i think the NGK plugs are better

There's quite a bit to this subject, but the short and sweet of it is that IF there are any gains to be had they're no greater than you would see if you used NGKs and simply indexed them for optimum ignition.

NGKs are excellent and very reliable; Most of the heavy hitters I know of in the Supra world are still running the OEM specified plugs (although some are running different gaps and/or temps). NGK copper aren't bad either, they need to be replaced more often, but they're inexpensive.

Save your money for other upgrades, there's no power to be made from these.

just an update:
the grey plug behind the stock H/U is the Diversity antenna that is mounted on the back glass under the defroster it has its own lines on the bottom of the hatch glass and has 1 wire going onto it. Just in case anyone was wondering
