LOL mine sounds like a really big subwoofer in my garage when it is idleing. But around 4000 RPM it does get a little loud but that is drown out by the turbos spooling.

now that I think about it. I would rather have it like a whisper at idle. then when im putting on Rpms for boost I wouldn't mind a larger sound. but nothing loud.

This thread just sucks. My car's quiet at idle and well, mild at cruise... half throttle and the exhaust roars and the intake is ridiculous. There's a MKIII owner who lives about 5 miles away with a mildly modded 1JZ and the thing is whisper quiet at all but WOT (and then it's still pretty quiet)... I LOVE it. Stealth and when you floor it you're surprised as hell when he's still right next to you like a ghost.

I live near a high school... loud and pathetic is what I see all day.

Lol if you saw my car in person you wouldn't think anything of it just like numerous other cars in my town. For a factory 1JZ I smoked a C5 corvette and he just had this look like what the heck just happened as me and my wife were just dieing laughing at him. But like I said my car isnt very loud at all even being pretty much straight pipe all the way back OH and I love the new title for the thread.

One of the admins has a real stick up his @$$ about threads not having even remotely descriptive titles.

No title? I'll choose one.

Pulling your cat isn't going to mae a very big difference unless it's pretty clogged up. What's the diameter of your current exhaust piping?
