upgrading intercooler and pipes: General Questions

would like to get my specs in w/o dissembling if its at all possible.

right now im trying to find a set of pipes that would work. going 2.5 instead of 3. smaller is better fitting. Anyone know the pipe specs for a 2.5 inlet/outlet inter cooler.. how many pipe bends of what degree, that sorta information will be quite valuable. im in the process of comparing found data. but one kit to the next offers completely separate bends and number of pipes. wish I could find a site that says "hey you. you need THIS!"
who here changed out their inter cooler with a 2.5 inlet/outlet. what type of pipes did you use. how many pipes and what were the degree of bends that fit your stock routing locations w/o major modification.
also what are the core dimensions of the 7mgte stock inter cooler. that would be helpful. probably come across it tho once i start looking for it.
