If anyone were to mass produce the LED tails it'd knock the price down... the problem is that there still wouldn't be enough buyers to make that sort of investment break even.

You looking for clear lenses to replace the original or are you looking for covers? Cover's are easily fabbed by vacuum forming, replacement lenses would need to be cast. There's a guy in the UK who has posted a bit on SM about the clear signal and marker lights he fabricates... VERY good looking products. He takes the original, makes a mold and then casts an exact replica in clear. If you don't want the retroreflector though, I don't know if he'll be able to help. He goes by Wolfie something... Just search "wolfie clear signal" or something along those lines and you should be able to find his threads.
