I have been looking, but with no luck so far, or cams in the over $700.00 range!!! Way too much. Mine is an N/A and I think it could really benefit from a couple of nice cams, streetable but, but barely. So, does anyone know of a good source for camshafts?

Thanks

Russ

a LOT of companies make custom cams, but I haven't been able to track down anyone that makes them for our cars h34r: If you're a tuner, you can research what you would want in cam specs and then try and get a company to make custom cams, but it's not going to be cheap...

I've heard rumors that there are cams for our cars, but they're not on any of the sites I've looked...

Well I am sure there are shops around that can certainly grind a set, but I wonder why they are so hard to find and and I know they need a master to grind a profile to. The engine would sure benefit from better breathing without it having to be forced breathing. I will do some more checking I guess.

Thanks

Good grief!!!! but they do have these if you have the money. Wish they showed lift numbers. A cam wakes up a N/A car so much, I am suprised that more guys don't do this mod........well except for the expense of course......sigh.

Actually its not me offering these cams. I had done a search for cams for the 7MG engine and this is really the only place I could find that had cams for it. their site is at http://wrsmotorsports.com , I wrote them and the info on top is what they sent me although it was in a spread sheet type layout.

The first mumbers are the engine type and the part number after the dash. Next is the duration @.050. It seems that the duration numbers are the same for intake and exhaust, so I don't understand the different price listings. The 7.9 and 8.5 numbers are a mystery to me. If it is lift in mm's then they are very low, in the .3100 in. to almost .3400 in and that is not much. I guess Iwill have to write them back for a little more indepth information.

But the website link should be good, so if anyone wants to get a little more info, feel free to go and check them out. I guess they also offer more items for different cars too

Hope that helps Supragirl.

that's great that you offer products for the 7m

could you please rewrite the information on your page as it's either mistyped or incorrect information

And more than likely wouldn't net as much of a gain as you'd think...
