Check the cap on the resevoir also. I bought an MKIII in March of this year for the same amount you did, but it needs work likes yours. I have a PWS leak also, when i opend the cap i noticed that the plastic seal on the cap just drop off like real thick liquid, which of course caused air to get in there and fluid to spill since it wasn't air tight due to the damaged plastic seal. Cheack that first and replace if you can, but you may need to replace the whole system or atleast the pump for know.
