This model Supra used the same automatic transmission for the turbo and non-turbo versions. You should no have an issue with that. The manual transmissions are different for the turbo and non-turbo, tho.

Sorry, but I have to bump this, there's still a few questions un-answered

Question: If my Supra isn't a Targa Top, can I make it one?

Also, if I plan to replace the stock turbo on the 7M-GTE, what would turbo would you recommend I swap it with?

I know this stuff isn't going to be cheap, but I don't plan on cheaping out in any part of this car.
