Very very few people remove power steering, but it frees up a LOT of power because pumping hydraulics takes a lot of work. Hell, if I could get a good normal rack and pinion, very dependable electric water pump, ditch the A/C and get an electric fan, I'd only be running the alternator, and it would SCREAM.
But...I don't drag race, and if I did, the supra wouldn't be my choice because of how heavy it is, it's a luxury sports car... |
