is it a hard pipe behind the exhaust manifold thats just covered with a rubber piece with a metal clip?

just replace it. go to a different auto parts store. you dont have to get the exact part.. just as long as what ever you use is doing the same job.. shouldnt be costly.. if your car is your only car and daily driver.. it would probably be ok to drive to the parts store etc.. as long as u keep your eye on the coolant levels. last resort would be a toyota dealership. im sure that piece wouldnt cost u an arm and a leg. and if u do go there.. just describe to them where it was.. they'll print out a picture of the area and just point it out lol. thats wat i did when i was missing bolts, hoses and stuff

Toyota part # 90339-16001 Later models have a metal cap welded to the end of the pipe.
