Hi Bill
Thanks for the reply and for posting the diagram. Yeah, that's it, as far as I can tell peering down in there. That rubber cap is covered with old oil and feels very soft and spongy, but I can't verify if that's where the leak is. I've got to get a pressure tester to find out what blew. I'm long overdue replacing the oil seals on top of the engine, and all the vacuum lines, so I'll get a better look once I get into that. Paul |
