flushing out my engine?? need help?

i own an 87 supra turbo. i just got it a couple of days ago and found out it had some water in the engine. well that is what i presume. because the oil on the stick is a tan color. and when i start the engine white smoke comes from the exhaust. is that due to the water problem in my engine or do i have a blown gasket? and would i need to flush out my engine

Unfortunately by the sounds of it you have a blown head gasket. Do run the vehicle any more as that water will damage your bearings as well as overheat the engine. Do you have that same tan/milky stuff on your oil cap?

How does it run?

Whip the head off, clean surfaces, get head machined & cleaned, new valve seals & stock gasket & head bolts, torque to 72ft lbs and you'll be away again.

When starting, get some cheap oil to run for 10 mins then drain again. Rinse and repeat. Then put in decent oil, hopefully your bearings are still ok :/

Do you hear any knocking noises from the bottom end?

IF the car is runing ok but milky oil.. then you are lucky at this point.. dont let it sit for any time with the water in it or it will mess up the internals.. such as cly walls.. pistons..so lucky as in its not trashed...yet
this is the #1 major issue with these 7m engines...bhg

Get the head off asap... go from there... Pictures will help...

oh aight thanks i see. but yea the oil cap is milky also. so i should drain the oil out and put new oil in a replace it right? cuzz i dont relly have the time and money to be fixing the engine with school and stuff. should it be better with me getting a whole new engine?

Yep, if you don't have time I suggest another engine and keep that one aside to rebuild later.

You will absolutely F*** that engine if you drive it, it will go bang bang bang bang and you're going to be left stranded somewhere.

Even if you replace the oil, it will go milky again and you will be losing water as it is going into your oil.

so does mean that i need to change te head gasket so water wont get into the engine? or is it my radidator? aww sh*t gotta get a new engine. that sucks for me. i might as well get a teggy

Yes, you will need to replace the head gasket.

if everything on the car is in good shape besides the engine, you can probably still get decent money for it

well the body and everything is in good shape. still has clean title so yea. i just dont have the money to fix the car since i am only in high school. i put it up on craigslist
