Yep, if you don't have time I suggest another engine and keep that one aside to rebuild later.
You will absolutely F*** that engine if you drive it, it will go bang bang bang bang and you're going to be left stranded somewhere. Even if you replace the oil, it will go milky again and you will be losing water as it is going into your oil.
