You couldn't be more blunt and precise at the same time Supramacist. I bought my supra, had it a half a year and got a BHG. Then another BHG so I stripped it down myself, got the block honed and surfaced and the head surfaced, new pistons, radiator is twice the size, an after market oil cooler and put a multi layer steel head gasket on.

The biggest point of all this is, go the whole nine yards, or else you would have the most un-reliable car on the face of the planet.(almost)

I jumped into the overhaul with $3000, spent over $6000 in the first year. I did all the labour myself except the machine work. I'm a sheetmetal engineer and had the luxury of a workshop and tools.
