Default buying a supra

so i currently have a 86 honda prelude and im wanting something that has more power, but still looks good! so i came across a supra. im looking into around the late 80's and early 90's. i dont have too much money maybe about 2 grand ill have.

i need a few questions answered if possible.

1) how much would a supra in those years run about (considering there running)

2) does the turbo ever brake and is hard to get a new one

3) is there alot of mods you can do?

4) which one do you suggest i get

thanks alot,
James

2 large gets you a car that's going to need a minimum of 1000 bucks done to it in the 1st month.

Take the car to a trusted mechanic and have him look everything over.

You can find a starter car for 2k.

I hope you have deep pockets and or don't intend for it to be your DD.

EDIT: YOu should read up on the BHG stickys and all of those other stickys.

Just so you know what you're in for. I bought a 2.7k$ supra.

I have 10k in it now and the HG blew after only 1 oil change. This is my 3rd summer of rebuilding.

Again: This is NOT. Every scenario. I'd just hate to see it be yours.

So research research research.
