I may try that, keeping an eye on the leak... it seems to have stoped
Already removed the pan cleaned it and put in a new filter when i put everything back together and put new tranny fluid in i noticed the hole was bored out. also tried using a longer screw to no success

Thanks all for your support. drilled it out and used a bolt and nut to tighten it down
Seems that the hole already went straight through so i just had to drill out the remaining shreds of threads to get the bolt to slide thru, making puting the nut on easier didnt have much room to work with
