Hi!
I tried to check the cmpression of my 7M-GE...the gasket on this one is blown and I couldn't warm it up before the testing how the service manual says. So it says 9kg/cm....when I added a bit of oil it was already 12kg/cm The question is HOW BAD IS THIS ENGINE? Do I have to change the rings as well? I appreciate any advice!!! Thank you! |

i dont know the conversion for psi but if you have a blown head gasket you will have low compression. If the compression jumps more than 20PSI i think it is with a wet test you could have a cylinder to ring problem
