Default INTAKES what to do....?

Well been researching alot looking around for intake for my vehicle...

What i read alot of is dont pay someone for a kit, do it youself but i cannot find any guidence on this.

From what i have read most of the filters are about the same as far as flow are concerned, so i think i wantd to go with AEMs dry flow filter, no oil means no dmg to my AFM which is always a good thing.

Other than that read alot that the filters drawing in air from the heat of the engine cuases a power loss and just simply keep cool air in can give 6hp gains. So anyone know of a way to contruct a heat sheild and pipe'n for the MKIII supra?

Think i am going to buy the LIPP intake adapter for like 35 bucks and get a AEM Dry flow filter, that way i can keep the oil from messing up my AFM.

Perhaps i can figure out a way to fabricate the stock air box to keep the engine heat away from the intake.......

that intake read makes sense until the very end when it talks about convergent vs divergent intake shapes.. but i guess fluid dynamics are beyond my comprehension ahha.. call me an advocate of common sense!

Don't mess with a box.
Just run that new filter down to the nose through the oval hole that already exists.
