ive got a leak but im not ready to spend that kind of money on a hose. Anyone know if you can put together a hose using those hoses/fittings from summit racing for a little cheaper?

I didn't take any pictures but it is very straight forward. To remove the steering rack I had to remove four bolts. On the passenger side they are on top of the subframe. On the driver's side one bolt is on top of the subframe and one is accessed through a hole in the subframe from the bottom. Then I had a buddy of mine pry up the steering rack with a prybar while I routed the line in it's place.

You can take the high pressure hose out, and take it to a hydrolic hose company who can rebuild the rubber portion for $20-30 ususally. I've done that to quite a few p.s. hoses. Its really not that much cheaper, but since you are using the old metal fittings, they will work better.
maybe.
Ray.
