Blown Head Gasket =/

Hey all,

Just pulled the head and... yep BHG.

Think I can get away without machining the block? If I could just get the head milled and throw on a composite HG it would be great.
(I don't have any way to get the block to a machinist right now)

no, youll end up tearing it down again after a few miles, a successful bhg job is all in the prep

what about arp studs and alot of torque? Like 85-90 lbs? I didnt resurface my block and torqued my head to 85. Its held 13-14 psi fine now for a while.

Thats pretty bad. Get the block and head decked i'd say.
